Info on Highlander accessories.

Hiya all, new member here.. I will soon be a Highlander owner replacing my 2003 Pilot with a Highlander sport 4x4.

My Pilot was a total loss in a accident and i really dislike the new Pilot redesign.. Drives more like a truck than car...

But that is another subject. I had a question regarding some accessories for a Highlander. I wanted to get a full nose mask, bra or whatever you call it..
Looked on the Toyota site and all they have is something called a hood protector Is this the same?

Do I have to get a aftermarket item for this?

Let me begin by saying :welcome:.

I think you will find this site very informative. I know I have since I joined a few months ago.

To your question...they are not one in the same. The hood protector is an acrylic piece that attached to the underside lip of your hood to divert bugs and stones away from your hood. Eg:

I have not seen a nose mask for the HL. In fact, I think they are becoming a dying breed because of past issues with inconsistent fading and paint issues from moisture and debris being trapped.

Have you considered a clear film application instead?
