Any ideas for a home made rear fender inner liner.
that place is a mud and rust trap and i want to protect it by plastic liner but its not available as factory fitting.
and why its not equipped in so many cars?

I know similar stuff has been used for underbody aero mods by folks here on TN.

Can't you just use something that starts out as a liquid (or goop) then dries/cures/hardens? There are tons of products that could work.

Wouldn't you still need to put something up in there for it to goop to and then harden? I mean I supposed you could use fiberglass resin and cloth as well.

I was under the assumption that the factory metal wheel well was there, especially considering that it's part of the vehicles structure?

I know in my 09 Camry there is no real wheel well. It is formed by the plastic bits he is talking about.
