function of a catch can is to just catch the oil when you corner hard, so it wont be burnt up. my buddy fills his catch can at track events on hi rwd 4age.

installation is more or less what this bad drawing shows.

when the catch can works it means no blue smoke, but once it fills up you gotta becareful cause oil can blow your distributor seal.

you dont fill it, it fills up from the constant G force of hard cornering. i personally dont use one. i have buddies that also use them on their turbocharged cars cause if they dont the turbo sucks in a bunch of oil and burns it.

why would you if it cause more problems, lol your supposed to keep an eye on it, but some odd reason my buddy's ae86 likes to dump oil into the catch can. onces it fills up all the crank case pressure has nowhere to go.
