Instantaneous fuel consumption computer

I have 1995 Avalon, made in Japan, with right steering. I want to find somewhere a computer, showing instantaneous fuel consumption, 100km consumption, kms to go with a particular consumption and all that stuff :). Japaneses seem to be not making such devices to be installed optionally. However, I know, that in the US people have found such devices. If anyone knows something about this, please help me! :) May be you could give me some links to sites where I could find such thing. Any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Made in Japan? Here is what the history section says:

"Built exclusively at Toyota Motor Manufacturing (TMM) in Georgetown, Ky., Avalon was produced with the needs and desires of the American public in mind. Much of the design of both the interior and exterior was performed by the Toyota Technical Centers (TTC) in Michigan, Arizona and California."

Well, mine is really made in Japan (RIGHT steering) :). There were some actually being made in Japan, but thats not the point. Ok, actually I found such a device. Now a simpler question. Could anyone tell me what the construction of the internal clock is like? Is it mounted onto the same PCB as the external thermometer display is, or they are separate? It is important, 'cause I'm gonna insert the device instead of the clock and it's gonna be impossible if they are mounted onto the one long PCB. Thanks.
How about a couple of pictures? Would like to see if there are any differences. The build plate would be really interesting to look at. Sorry, I cannot help you on th electronics, your post is most interesting. What motor does it have?
It has 1MZ-FE, V6 3.0. Body model - MCX-10. The car was brought from Tokyo 1 year ago. I'll post some pics when I make them, however for an unknown reason posting of the attachments is disabled in this forum...
I found this info:http://www.answers.com/topic/toyota-avalon

According to this they still made the Gen 1 Avalon in Australia thru 2005 in a right hand drive model. Maybe your's was made in Australia?

Looks like the "history" section needs an edit.
