are intake manifolds on old 4 runners and pickups interchageable? i want to put the 22re intake on a 22r

Any reason why, other than changing over to EFI?

Some of the late model 22R motors have mounting bosses for the EFI intakes. Many do not - you can't use the EFI manifold.
