Hey all.

I am a new TCH owner, 2012.

I absolutely hate the interior being so light (ash). I plan to call around and find someone who makes a carpet for the car or see if the carpet from the other non hybrid models will fit and change it to black.

I also was looking at these seat covers, but I feel that it is too good to be true. Watch the videos and tell me what you all think. They say that they dont slide around and look OEM. Check out the video of installation and tell me what you think.

I'm sticking with carpet for now but...

if I was going to change, I'd go with the something like this...

It comes in variety of colors, including black.

On seat covers, looks good IMO. But I'm happy with what I've got.

I have to agree, the only thing I don't like about my new Camry is the cheap looking seat coverings. I have the ivory color in the base model with white ext. I've been looking around for someone to change them out to leather, but the above link is a dark leather that wouldn't look good in my car.

I wanted to get the WeatherTech tan Car Mats but ended up with black mats. My Acura has the light tan ones and they show scuffs pretty easy and near impossible to get out.
As for the seats, contact your dealer and see if he can get you the # to a leather shop they use. Toyota has a single color kit, tan in my case, which I had them install.

Also, by the time you installed the mats 85% of the car will be covered. The carpet like mats I somehow paid for with a package from Toyota are worthless after a year. Heal marks, etc....
I put them up in the attic saving them for a trade in day 10 years from now??

The seat covers come in many different colors. I talked to a reseller that claimed that he put them on his WRX and he loved them. I may give them a try, but I want to actually change the carpet. The carpet being light gray will bother the crap out of me because its already getting dirty and I am a neat freak. First car Ive ever had with such a light carpet. I want a more luxury feel inside, I should have probably gotten the XLE, but oh well...
