I have to say I am VERY envious of my buddy that has a Taurus with interior ambient lighting. Has anyone here installed interior LEDs? :geek:

MEH?!? Noooooo meh. Its very attractive! Also a bit handy when you can see stuff when its 100% dark outside. I dont want my car to look like a kids (18-25yo) car. I want that nice upscale ambient lighting.
LMAO. I love my 11 Limited just the way it is w/o that fancy lighting. She makes up for it in other attributes.

I just want a nice non-kid ambient lighting effect. I guess there is no one on here that accomplished that. :(

When do you want the lights on?

One thing that sucks with the 3rd gens is the lighting. Total ass all around. Highs, turns, tails, reverse, license map and dome have been updated. Shit HID, footwell and the rest of the green to follow.

NICE!!!! Do you have any photos? And how difficult was it to install the low beams? Some folks say to remove the bumper cover. Other say to remove the battery and fuse box. What do you suggest?

I have OEM HID and have not tackled that yet. I want to get a fresh set of Halogen housings and put LED in. I would put the bulbs in before affixing the housings onto the car.
I got the HID caps off my car and can get at the bulbs. I just cant get enough torque to get them out. I was just messing around (and it was cold). I may mess around more in the spring and summer. I would think you can get the passenger out, for sure. The driver may need the battery moved.
