Has anyone tried replacing their interior lights with LEDs? If so, what LEDs did you use? I find the yellows of the current lights are clashing with the whites of my illuminated door sills and blues of the ambient lighting.

My guess is most of the lights are T10, and maybe some 3175 bulbs. That is how most Toyotas are. Whenever I get mine, I plan to swap them out from the ones I had in my 4Runner that I pulled out.

This is for the 2019, but it does give common replacement sizes/bulb types. Check yours before you order!

Looking through the lens they seem like leds in the front and regular bulbs centre and rear. If fronts are leds they will be panels and not easy to replace i think. It might even come as a whole assembly at the front. Once that gets figured out then we can move back

I just finished installing as many as I could. The main bulb I used is
JDM ASTAR 10pcs Super Bright 194 168 175 2825 T10 PX Chipsets White LED Bulbs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DE7UC6C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_SH8OEb11DVQTT
The bulb in the back by the 3rd row is different. I just ordered the following: JDM ASTAR Canbus Error Free GX-3020 Chipsets 1.25 inches 31mm DE3175 DE3021 DE3022 3175 Bright White LED Bulbs Amazon.com: JDM ASTAR Canbus Error Free GX-3020 Chipsets 1.25 inches 31mm DE3175 DE3021 DE3022 3175 Bright White LED Bulbs: Automotive
I know amazon states it doesn’t fit but I don’t think they know it takes one of these.
I was not able to change the map lights since they are integrated in the circuit board that controls the SOS and the other Interior light buttons. I have the 2020 L version, not sure if it would be different with other trims. Keep in mind for the map lights I had to take off the entire panel, YOU CANNOT just remove the light cover. Again, this was on the L trim model.

hope this helps. If anyone is able to change the map lights integrated into the circuit board could you please create a YouTube video showing the necessary steps. That would be awesome!

Same as my 4Runner for bulbs. Awesome. I'll just transfer them over. Thanks for the info. I also have the same bulbs you bought.

Hmm I just noticed that my 2020 doesn't have courtesy lights on the rear doors. Only the front doors have them. I guess 2 less bulbs to buy then.

I replaced bulbs as soon as I got the car and was very upset to find out that the map lights are integrated and cannot be replaced... The 3rd-row bulb I had did not fit (was a bit too long) so I need to get a new one, but others are standard T10s.

Just changed the one on the 3rd row. the bulb seems shorter than 31mm. The two ends of the original bulb are sharper/thinner than the LED I got. I made it barely fit by modified one of the end more thin or sharp. I recommend to try less than 31mm if you can find one.

How did you get the lights above the rear doors off with the sunroof model? It's part of the vent assembly and I couldn't figure out how to open those?

I replaced one LED in the back so far, it was the DE3175 in the hatch.

How was the fit of this bulb? Did you have to do anything to it?

It actually fit just fine. It is slightly wider but the right side of the metal tabs pushes away to remove it. I just slide it up into the slot till it locked in. Same as my 4Runner was and worked for a year till I got rid of it. It’s flexible so it should be fine.

Thank you!!! That helped a lot. I guess I was going slightly above it in that area.

Yep. Got them replaced. Now it doesn't match those darn map lights. lol. I tried to get the visor light cover off. Didn't have luck on that one either.

Going to try this...looks like you have to push up higher on the left side if the passenger.
