I'm a new member to the forum. I have a 96 Landcruiser with a number of quirks. Parts are becoming increasingly important. I believe my transmission neutral safety start switch is faulty. For the past month I have needed to re-position the shift lever in park or neutral an average of 5 times in order for the engine to turn over. Where is this switch located, how much is a replacement, and can a novice make this repair?

Thanks, Doc

Welcome, Doc! You ought to check out the Land Cruiser forum to post your questions. You ought to be able to find some good answers and information there. Best of luck with the repair.
