Sup guys, my parents recently(this week) gave me a 4d00r 1990 Corolla DX. Im thinking of "fixing" it up alittle. The engine is just fine, this week im gettin some shaking it has, the mechanic said it was some little rubber things that holds the motor. Anyways, you guys think its worth it to fix it up with a paintjob, rims, and maybe some minor engine mods(intake)?

I got audio covered, prolly going today or tmmrw for a nice little system.

Just wanted to know others input/opinions. Any of you got pics of your 90 Corolla?

Check out this thread for pics of AE92s (chassis code for 1988-1992 Corollas):

feel free to ad to it if you have pics.

Is it worth it to mod your car? That question can only be answered by you. How long are you planning on having it, and what are your goals? Make sure you do what needs to be done to keep it running right before spending on modding it. (maybe replace those motor mounts).

Good luck and post in the ME/Mine/Mods section for new users!

Yea thanks Chris those motor mount(rubber things I guess):) are gettin fixed this week f00 sh00. Yea I plan on fixing it up and keeping it for a while(maybe another 15 years;) ) but I just wanted feedback on what others think...if theyve done it and stuff. I was thinking. I do plan on fixing everything to keep it running before moding it for sure. Im not into racing so most mods will be just for looks.

Is there any body kits available for this car?

Bah, also anyone know of a site where to get stock parts for the Corolla. Like for instance back stop light cover and some interior stuff.

funky looking... but sick nonetheless! :D

Bodykits for this car.. I don't think I've ever seen one or heard about them (some people have made their own) but if you really wanna change the look of the car, Japanese bumpers will do the trick, they're shorter and look sleeker. :)
