Is there a best way to listen to Spotify music in car

I enjoy listening to Spotify music in car. Because the car stereo from my Toyota 2012 doesn't support downloading apps, I have to connect my Android phone via Bluetooth everytime. Is there another better way to download Spotify to the car stereo directly?

Looks like you answered your own question....
Set to auto on on connection. Set to "initiate from head unit". It should connect automatically when phone connects to car. Saves 3 pushes on the screen.
At least, your Spotify works. Mine works only for about 15-20 min, then it's "no service". Spotify app sucks, there's TON pf problems with it online.
I have one XTRONS radio from Amazon. it is Spotify compatible. Check XTRONS or other aftermarket Android stereos, most of them have the ability to use Spotify, Pandora, or other radio apps.
You'll have to replace the headunit for an CarPlay or Android Auto headunit.

Or...one of those inexpensive Chinese Android OS units (haven't had experience)
