Is there a way to make the JBL radio default to the TEXT mode?

My Tacoma radio can togggle back and forth to defult to TEXT or no TEXT on the radio and CD screen. My Camry radio only goes into TEXT for a minuite and toggles back, is there a way to make that the default and display the TEXt whenever it is available instead of looking for the MESSAGE indicator and having to press the TEXT button?
