well, my parents just told me they don't wanna put anymore money into the wagon because every repair we do just becomes more and more expensive. so we're parting ways with it, and they agreed to buy me another car.

however the catch is, it won't be a toyota. they wanna switch companies to....gasp! honda!

so the only way i agreed to this deal is if they got me an integra gs-r because i won't drive a whimpy sohc civic and i wanted something slightly sporty with some power.

so...for now it looks like the teggy is in and the camry is out.

you'll regret it. you'll have less space and you won't be able to do as much. i would say reconsider or atleast get a corolla xrs you get more room. but hey i guess i'll be alone with the wagon but eh that just means that i'll be the only pimp wagon.
Your parents suck:disappoin

Search around for a Civic Si. The hatch isn't that bad. Either that or you can find a used S2000 for in the $20k range :)

You should at least try and work them a little more. Honda isn't the answer!

heh, i dun mind not having less room. i hate cramming 8 people in my wagon anyway. i'll like carrying 4 people max in the teg. and thats before i drop it.

besides, i love hatchbacks. and i dont plan to shove a sound system in there so i'll have that room if i fold down the back seats.

*insurance costs my friend* my budget is small and a civic si rapes my already bad insurance. a 96 gs-r does it some justice. its cheaper on the insurance than my wagon according to our agent.
i had a 93 teg rs and i always wanted more room and after looking at every one else and realizing that my car looked like thiers i was unhappy. the thing that sets us appart is that most of us like to stand out that's why we drive this car to begin with.

how much are they going to drop into a new car? i bet with that mone you can get a 3sgte swap done with a manual tranny and that would be faster that a teg.

why do your parents dislike toyota?
Getting rid of the ol' wagon huh? Sorry to hear that man. But you can make that GSR quick as hell. And you'll have no problems finding aftermarket products it it either

thats one reason i'm doing it.

and the folks are gonna put 5g into the teg and whatever isnt spent buying the car goes to me.

they dislike toyota cuz our gen4.5 had so many defects when it came from the dealer that we had to go back over and over to get things fixed.
There's a dealer near my house that sells a new Lancer Evolution 8 for $23,534. And no it's not the RS, but the GSR.
well good luck and we all hoe your happy
I would love a Teg, but the insurance would be to high for me. I would look for a 94-97 Honda Accord EX with the Vtec 2.2 engine. That is, if it had to be a Honda.
oh ya, the other reason i'm not getting an evo or an s2000 is becuz i can't name many parents who would do that for their 17yr old son.

and i'm afraid of getting keyed in our school parking lot.
We want this man to keep driving a Toyota.
i always thought of wagons as pimp rides. how about one those old accord wagons . lol they look nice if cared for properly. dont know about engine stuff but yea.
i never liked the accord wagons.

Good luck carrying 4 people in a teg. It was a pain in the a$$ just to carry 3 people in my old car. I ended up taking the back seat out just so i couldnt drive anymore than 2.

Have fun trying to find a decent GSR for 5g's. Your prob gonna have to settle for a ls.

I did love my integra tho. It was soo much fun to just drive in it. I would still trade my cam for a teg any day of the week.
shaun's (boro-ef) 4 dr civic, sohc does a high 14 sec 1/4 mile... not too many mods either, and its not even stripped
^
ya that reminds me there was a sohc civic with a few mods and a 50 shot runnin mid to high 8's in the 1/8
civics are quick, i hate that fact. anyway the integra is a good choice, i was thinking of getting a 2001 type-R.... great cars. hondas are good... youll love your new car! good luck with it you lucky boy
lol i dunno if it's luck but i'm certainly glad they're willing to do this. first mods! much suspension work for autox.
