Hi All,
I have a 1990 Camry 3SFE. I'm doing a timing belt, water pump, and all seals. I've searched all over this site and on google but can't seem to find an answer.
Here are my questions:
- What is causing my alternator belt to make a groove in my lower timing belt cover?
- When I removed the crankshaft pulley, there were groove marks on the timing belt cover right behind the sprocket. Can someone tell me what's happening here?
- I'm replacing the oil pump seal and o-ring and also the front main seal (crankshaft seal?). Can that come off in 1 unit or do I take the oil pump cover off first? AND- do I have to remove the oil pan or just the 4 bolts holding the part from the bottom?
Thanks in advanced and if pics would help, let me know.
