I have a 2000 Camry XLE V6 with the JBL premium sound system. Sooner or later, I want to put my Alpine headunit in and I have a couple of questions;

1) How many speakers are there? The brouchure says 6, most sources online say six, but my Munroney Sticker (window sticker) says I have 8. I know up front there is the set in the lower door and a set of sail panel tweeters, but what's going on in back?

2) What's the resistance of the speakers? I've seen online they are 2 Ohms instead of 4 Ohms.

3) Do the fronts, and if applicable, the rears, use a crossover or are they run in series, or parallel?

The JBL setup for the Gen4 should be

Front 6.5"
Rears 6x9"
Tweeters (don't know what size) on front door.

I know sometimes manufactures will count '2 way speakers' (with tweeters) as 'two' speakers on one.

JBL is a little different. I know for the Gen5 Camry, the setup is a bit different than the stock speakers/audio. You will have to bypass the amp.
