My 89 v6 4wd lower timing belt pulley keyway was damaged. As a result it jumped time a couple of cogs. Parts are ordered.. Would there and/or could there be any valve damage?

just a week ago my 22re did the same thing....it bent all of my intake valves...the way i found out is sprayed wd-40 inside the head and saw it leakin out, and i clead the valves off and they were bent
