1st tell us more about the car.
which engine?
manual or auto?
what do you want to do with the car? show? race? what kind of racing? what kind of shows?

make a flowchart of you plan for the car, too many people do this.,.

im gonna get lights, oh now i want a header, wait now im gonna turbo! no no i'll do an engine swap. hey should i drop it? who makes a good body kit? which wing? whats some good tires? are the M3 mirrors tacky? does anyone make cams for these cars? i want to do nitrous.

you need to determine right off the bat what aspects of the car you'll be focusing on enhancing. handling, looks, engine performance, audio, etc.

also I guess how old are you? I've learned to be wiser with mods...I'd drive until those wear parts wear out then instead of replacing I'd upgrade. For example right now the shocks that came with the car are still fairly new..no bodyroll whatsoever...so I think I'll wait until it wears out then when the time comes to change them I'll go with performance oriented parts. Although I can swap them right now with my wife's corolla which has Bilsteins and Tein H-tech springs :D

well i'm 20, so i'm definately on a very fixed income lol... right now my exhaust needs to be fixed, but the garage i got the car from is taking care of that... i also need new tires but they'll last me about 6 months or so... so right now i'm thinking i want a cd player for sure, and i'd love to do an audio setup... my boyfriend has one and i love it... i also want to focus on appearance... my mom is gonna buy me the tint... i want to change the head lights and tail lights - i'm thinking that will probably be happening within the next couple months, and then over next winter maybe do the interior... but thats getting ahead of myself... i have no interest in doing anything performance wise though... so i guess, if i'm planning for headlights/tail lights, what should i be looking into? i'm gonna want to upgrade to HIDs eventually too... but as far as the actual lights go, are there specific ones i should look into or steer clear of??
