I just picked up a 86 cressida wagon. It needs a lot of love but i got it for $500 with 140,xxx miles.

Where can I find parts for it? I need a cornering light and catalytic converter.

Since theres basically no aftermarket parts for the car. Is ther any shock and spring combo from another car that will fit? i just want like 1.5 inch of drop

Congratulations on your purchase. What problem(s) does it have? As far as parts go, the junkyard is a good place to start.

either search here or on toyotacressida.net (register and log in to see it) for info and ideas. for the cat, first, why do you need one? is it gone altogether, rusted out, needed for emissions? the reason you need it changes where you get it.

As far as aftermarket parts you can look at www.rabidchimp.com, although it is geared to Supras many parts can work on the Cressida. Be sure to verify with Aaron first though.

Which side cornering lamp do you need? I have an extra one I think.

The exhaust on my Cressida just rusted out before the cat, I think I am going to just pull it since I don't need it anymore for emissions (got Historic plates this year!).

most of the mk3 supras are interchangeable with the cressidas on the front but i belive the rears are a lil more tricky

close but wrong generations: MK3 supras are totally different in front (double wishbone) but the rear is similar design to the MX83 but only springs/strut swaps. MK2 supras have the same front and rear suspension as the sedan 85-88. front is very similar to all of the 80-92 cressidas but not completely interchangeable
