Picked it up two days ago. 2000 Camry V6 5-Spd LE. All the amenities, JBL CDs, Cruise, Power Leather, Runs Super Nice with Ice Cold A/C. With the V6 and the manual gearbox this thing really moves.

Light front end damage. Nothing really broke besides swappable sheet metal. Rad and condenser are clean. I ordered new hood, fender, headlights, parklamp, bumper and grille. I have to pull the core support out a bit, only about 1.5"-2" though. Straighten what's not, and bolt the new stuff on. I couldn't pass up on it, the deal was too good.

Later that day...

Bad fender off, new hood on, along with all the clips, washer nozzles, under hood blanket and washer hoses.

As of this afternoon, I got the core support 75% completely where it needs to be. After that I will hang the new sheet metal and lights.

:welcome: to Toyota Nation! Looks like you've got your work cut out for you with that Camry, but the interior and rest of the outside looks great. Can't wait to see how it looks when you're finished. Best of luck....

Good work with the restore.

I have a question maybe you can answer. I had to replace the hood on my 99 I4 Camry. I forgot to note how the washer hose was routed from inside the fender. I plan to take the right fender off this weekend to reattach it to the hood. Can you tell me how it is routed from the pump to the hood.

Thanks

Finished.

Cores Support stretched and back in place.

Headlights mounted.

Park Lights mounted.

Hood mounted and lined up.

Bumper Cover, Reinforcement and Support mounted.

Fender lined up and mounted.

Valvoline 5w-30 Synthetic Blend with OE Toyota Filter

K&N Air Filter

9005 Mod for Highs and Lows.

All I need to do is get the sheet metal painted and I'm set.

My pump and tank is on the passenger's side. The fender I replaced was on the driver's side. Sorry. Just kind of follow a route that is out of the way of moving parts and you should be ok.

great job! did you do the core restoration yourself too?

Yes, I did the core straightening. I used my Toyota forklift as an anchor and ratcheted it back in place little by little. The hardest part was getting the hood to line up. I still am a little displeased with the way it sits. I will still try to get that aligned by the end of the weekend.

If anyone has an extra Toyota emblem they want to send me that would be great! I need one for the grille. Or if someone has a picture of the grille itself removed from the bumper. I need to see how the "T" mounts in the grille. It was missing when I got the car,

I was considering repainting only the broken panels but I will check out the prices for repainting the whole car.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, it was worth the work.
