Hello everyone I am new to this forum and a happy new owner of a 2011 Barcalona Red Camry XLE. This car has far exceeded my expectations!!! An amazingly well built car all around!!! Well just wanted to share with everyone the HID kit I just installed today from xenonsupply.com. I ordered the Premium kit with the 6000K bulbs. I have the same kit in my 2011 Sonata limited and since march it has been awesome with no problems what so ever so for my Camry I went with xenonsupply.com again!!! The installation was so simple because of my past experience installing these HID kits and for the video tutorials xenonsupply has on there website for this same exact car!! The kits are quality here and the customer service and the people who run xenonsupply.com are simply amazing!!!! Here are some night pics of my baby shining!!!!! I was on a bit of an incline but the cut out when you are driving is nice and straight the kit is GREAT!!!!

Wow man.. Clearly nice little commercial for that site. In your post you mentioned the site at least 4-5 times.

Also, no one beats DDM tuning prices. So sorry to tell that you overpaid for your HIDs

Guys I NEED YOUR HELP!!
This morning when I started my car the "Check Battery" meassage came on as well as the traction control icon. I am assuming its the lights but it has been a couple of weeks that I have had the kit installed and this message never came up....

Any advice???

Depending on the ballasts that you have installed the traction control light may have come on as a result of the ballasts causing interference. Lower grade ballasts are not equipped with EMI filters to prevent such things from happening. On other forums that we post on I have seen low grade HID kits cause issues with power steering and radio static.

You paid a lot for your hid kit. If I was you I's go for an AC hid kit which are much better compared to these. kryptonbulbs sell them, and that's where I'll be buying them from oh and they're only 50 shipped. good quality, no ebay xentec crap. Also ddmtuning sells nice kits too.
Did you use a harness?

Guys,

I didn't want to start a new thread so I figured I'd continue this one. I'm thinking about putting HID's in my 2011 Camry. I found some at DDM Tuning, I'm looking at the 55w H11 5000k. Would anyone not recommend the 5000K color temperature? How about the wattage? Is 55 watts ok?

The website offers to sell mounting brackets, HID harness, error eliminator, adapter cables. Do I need all these extras?

Thanks for any help!

Go with 35 watts. 55 watts can possibly melt the housing. You dont need any of the extras, just buy the kit. 5k is fine. Dont be surprised if you start to get flashed, your projectors arent designed with hids in mind so they will produce more glare. Just a heads up.
