Me, I'm a 53 year old electrical engineer who likes tinkering with anything technical including cars. "Discovered" MR2s when a colleague was selling his MK1 and a friend raved over it, and persuaded me to buy it.
Mine: 85 MK1 with 235k miles and still going strong, nice condition for its age. Now being driven by my son, as I just aquired a newer one: an 86 MK1 in beautiful condition with "only" 160k on it. About to aquire a third MK1 that has been abandoned by owner with no soul.
MODS: Nothing major. Modified air intake, might try the resistor in the air temp controller mod when I get round to it.
