First , change you name... j/k

Between the K&N and the TRD its really a matter of preference, they both work really well so its a matter of which do you like more or is cheaper.

Seriously though you have to change your name.... j/k
man... trd is so whack, their filter is probably a k&n filter with a red rubber housing and trd written all over it. imo theyre the same and it doesnt matter which one you get. persoanlly i have the trd one.

read this, it might change your mind about these "performance" filters:

http://www.mcagraphix.com/filter/test.htm
TRD does not have a drop in filter for 04. (At least for the 1MZ or 3MZ.)
i also thought the TRD air filters were simply rebadged K&N filters...last time i checked TRD USA doesn't make any of their parts, they are all rebadged items...like the gen 4 exhaust is made by Boryla etc etc

TRD Japan is a different story though...

Keri
ahhh yes...
black...i like gen5 black camrys...
mine is silver. black wasn't avaiable for the 03 camry doh!!! :( why??!?~!?~?! anyways i've got a k&n panel for my 2.4l
go to k&nfilters.com and check if your car is there...mine cost $110 from liverpool exhausts.
you gotta come and show me your car BlackSportivo!!!

the induction noise is louder than the stock filter. the car is a little more responsive especially at night. i can hear the induction when standing on the left side of the car, where the air box is...this is in the morning where a cold engine idles at around 1500rpm instead of 850rpm...so more air is being sucked in...
sounds like a turbo spooling softly
hahaa:lol:
TRD filter IS a rebadged K&N, so really, it's a matter of price.
Hi migoreng (nice noodles) LoL
yeah im from sydney as well. I havent took possession of the car yet still have 2 pick it up from tha dealer
i was in your situation last time as well i had a '03 Cascade Blue Sportivo that was written off =( Long story dude.
I've always wanted a Black 1 so wo la..now i get 2 have 1.
Its because its a scam =) LoL they want more customers and they know if they release a black colour every1 is gonna flock out 4 1.
I have also put on Sportivo High mount spoiler and silver badgin instead of the pearl black 1ns. Thats pretty stupid if ill say cant even c tha damn black 1s.

Whats your model number for the K&N flat panel?

Thats a fair price from Liverpool exhaust..
supercheap auto, repco, and autobarn are ripoffs man.
2003 TOYOTA Camry Automotive 2.4L L4 F/I All 33-2260 Air Filter

2004 TOYOTA Camry Automotive 2.4L L4 F/I All 33-2260 Air Filter

ah well

yeah
k&n man...
i was looking for a trd air filter at the time too...but i just went and got k&n because they claim they have the best filtration and hi flow air filters...
hahaha
Hey migoreng are u serious i just live up tha rd from u
im based in ST JOHNS PARK
yeah taht sportivo was probably mine
but its in th auction yard now smashed up
i think thats my car LoL =)
yeh im also lookin 4 TRD but had a quote from Castle hill Toyota 4 $140 or so.
Duno if i should get that all K&N like u.
what do you fink?

Hey do u have icq? or msn?
ahhh
the blue camry was parked exactly in front of liverpool old building tafe...the 4 hour parking limit place...in front of the park and lawn bowling place

yeah jasonung[at]hotmail.com
2346984 icq
uh... maybe we should stay on topic

i guess it just comes down to this... k&n=trd... so, best thing to do is look up both filters, find the lowest price, get it, and buy the cleaning kit. or, you can stick to paper filters for better filtration.
Does ne1 know tha cheapest price for
1. K&N Flat panel filter
2. TRD Sports Flat panel filter
In Sydney, N.S.W. Australia area.

Thanks
I'd recommend a Green Filter, the construction seems better than a comprable K&N. And TRDs are just rebadged K&Ns, as everyone has said...

DJ
In most cases, the K&N will be cheaper, as TRD usually charges a premium for their parts...

DJ
Hi guys,
Does ne1 know d prices on these filters within Australia?
cheapest prices that is.
Just post em up and tell me d location thanks! (NSW)
