First time this has happened inserted key and it would not turn, the steering wheel turns so I am not sure what is going on. It is like the steering wheel never locked fro:headbang:m my last use.I read the other post on this but I seem to be hearing that it is a worn out key we do not carry but 3 keys on our key ring so the magnetic strip should not be affected by that. :headbang:

If auto, put it in park. Shifter could be in limbo.

It may be a worn key; toy keys are brass and regularly need replacing on the older models. Bring VIN to dealer and have them cut new one. Do not get Hdwr store copy as it will be copy of WORN key, with same problems.
