After upgrading my 2007 Camry door speakers, I've noticed that my driver's side door handle is less sensitive when trying to unlock the car by touching the handle (with the keyless entry). I have to stand there and try different grips in order to get the auto-unlock to kick in. The passenger door is fine so I know the FOB has a good signal.

I'm thinking I must've knocked something off/out of place while removing the door trim for the speaker upgrade.

Before I go back in there poking around, does anyone know how the system works and where I should look for the issue? Is there an actual sensor on the inside of the handle that might have come loose?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
