Keyless Entry on 1995 Avalon XL

I am trying to figure out if my Avalon has RKE. It has the OEM security system and I have reason to believe that it also has RKE except that no remote was given to me when I got the vehicle. Is there a receiver I can locate to check this? If there's not a receiver, could I buy an OEM receiver from eBay for a 1998 and connect it to the vehicle?
