noticed my 99 ce has a light on the dash up on the drivers side by the windshield. was wondering if thats for a factory security system that uses a keyless entry. has power locks/windows also.

Call and ask a dealer if you have the option. Be prepared with your vin number. It's a 3 minute phone call.

try post a picture of it. might be an automatic light switch that turns on your lights when it turns dark.
