Ok, let me try again with this picture - this is 2020 Corolla (Hybrid).
So the one in box is sensor - agree.
I was asking about the one in circle - the "knob" - just a dumb protrusion smack in the center.
And I just check with a rope - it aligns straight in the center with the hood Toyota emblem.
I think I can assume it is for the purpose I had guessed.
I guess I should have posted a pic like this one.
Yes. Much clearer in this picture. Not sure it serves a particular purpose other than structural in the dashboard assembly. The 11th gen has something similar, but right in the middle of the air vent. Indeed it's centered by design but just as our old hood emblems, I wouldn't count on it to position the car as the perspective between it and the road would vary considerably depending on seating height/position.
Started the installation of the front speakers (Hertz Cento Pro 6.5" components), speaker T-harness and 4 gauge power wire. All harnesses are self made plug-n-play (radio speaker output, vehicle speaker harness, tweeter harness and door speaker harness). Speaker T-harness connects to the radio...
For those who didnt have the jbl package, has anyone replaced their standard speakers if yes what is a good brand to use both front and rear speakers, the sound quality and bass for the standard speakers feels lame and meh!!
I have fit ENKEI TUNING TD5 PEARL BLK wheels on my 2019 Corolla Hatchback.
18" diameter 8 inches wide on front
225 40r 18 front tires.
18" diameter 9.5 inches wide on back.
255 35r 18 back tires.
This setup is the widest you can fit on the back.
Check out my video on the Facebook group, Toyota...
