22re very sluggish acceleration until 3000 rpms

Did you ever solve your problem? My 1993 22re has the exact same symptoms.

my truck with the 22re has had the same problems, cleaned the intake, replaced fuel filter, cleaned throttle, cleaned egr . it just decided to crap out on me when i went into the store for 1 min, come back out while it was idling put it in first and bam no power, 3k rpms some power there. 2nd gear same thing, etc. at a total loss with it right now. this seems to be a problem no one has diagnosed or never responded back with their fix. if any one can help please do.

my 87 4runner has been having the same problem then i noticed my clip for the number 1 injector was broken and coming loose that was leading to misfire , studder during accelration dont know if it will help ya but helped me out i just picked up a refurbished injector for cheap or just go to the wrecker if you dont mind that
