I'm picking up an '08 SWB DC LB 4x4 in the very near future, got to sell my '88 Porsche 911 first though :sosad: at any rate I can't live with Grandtreks and want to replace w/ BFG All Terrains ASAP. What size can I go with that won't rub or cause damage? I had 285/ 70 / 17 BFG All Terrains on my '05 Dodge 2500 Cummins Diesel and like the look of those tires but don't think they would work on a DC Tacoma without a lift or spacer kit?

Truck I'm working with right now :D

My old Dodge with the tire size I would like on the Tacoma

On the sport, a 265/70/17 tire is the largest that will fit without rubbing (stock is 265/65/17). I just made an appointment to get my Bridgestone Revos in that size for Friday in replace of my Bridgestone Dueler H/Ts that are worthless on snow. I can't wait to see my truck with new shoes!

You will love the Tacoma DC by the way. Too bad you have to sell the 911, that car has been on my wish-list for over 25 years.

Wasn't the news I wanted to hear, but thanks for the heads up. Can 285/ 70/ fit without rubbing via a level kit or slight lift?
