I wish we had a scene here man; there are no Toyota clubs or meets around here. There is a biannual meet at a local state park for anybody who wants to come and I like going there, as I am the only Venza, but that's it.

My buddy with an STI is in the regional Subaru owners club and they have meets 1 or 2 times a month, more in the summer. I go to theirs occasionally to hang out with a few STI and FRS owners I know. The Subaru guys let them join because of the FRS - BRZ tie in.

Dude, if you like having the window vent/shade/deflectors, you need to ditch those tape on ones that hide your chrome and get the WeatherTech ones like I have. They mount inside the window track so they don't cover the chrome trim:

You have a valid point, I was going to black out the chrome at the time but the chrome what makes it pop, i had the weather tec on my xb, just didnt like the tucking....but it makes sense on the venza.

Yeah, I've gone back and fourth on that one too. Now that I have the billet grille with the polished front installed, the plan is to leave the chrome around the windows and on the door handles. Then I want to go with black and machined wheels to tie everything together.

Thanks ... I've always had a vision for the Venza and its not a common car that anyone wants to customize. which makes it unique... I was certainly breaking necks that day...took everyone for a surprise. :thumbsup:
