I have a 97 T100, 2WD, 3.4 with 81000 miles, it's just about mint condition. I have only used this truck to get me to and from work from the time it was new, never towed are hauled anything at all with it. I have kept everything maintained perfect, and never had nothing go wrong, very dependable truck. I turned wrenches for a little while out of high school, and drag raced up till a few years ago, so I know the basic or more on automobles. I removed the driveshaft to see if I might have a pinion bearing problem, but the pinion bearing seemed fine.
Is this a problem with the Toyota rearends? Do you know how many inch pounds it takes to rotate the pinion? I really like my Toyota, and do not find this to be a big problem, but I can not stand for truck to leak anything/
