hi guys, i'am new here on this forum. i have a gen 5.5 camry and i just bought wheels 18x7.5 +35 and im gonna install eibach pro and kyb strut and my question is what tire size should i get? 225/40/18, 235/40/18 or 225/45/18. thanks.
So I just read and scanned through all seven pages and I still don't know what the widest wheel that will fit is and the offset that would allow it would be for a Gen 3 Camry with a 5SFE?
Someone stated that you could fit up to a nine inch wheel in the front with the right amount of camber. Nobody said what degree of camber would be required though. Also what about the rear? What is the widest wheel you can fit in the rear as well and what offset is best to make the wheels flush to the fender assuming only 1 degree of negative camber or none at all. Also assuming that I wanted to have the same width front and rear what is the widest wheel possible?
I have 17 x 7 Aurion ZR6 Rims on my 95 Tourer Camry. They have a +45 offset using 225 or 235/55/R17 tyres... Fits snug. Wrong profile height for the Cam, but hasn't changed the speedo reading from what I can notice.
I want to put on some new wheels on an 07 Camry. I am looking at some Volk Wheels 18 x 7.5 +42 offset. The car is not lowered at the moment. Will these fit on the stock suspension? Will they cause any problems with some TRD springs?
Please let me know, I have been away from this forum for years. Be nice
well i just went through this entire thread and didnt come up with anything to fulfill my question. I was trying to find Milts gen 3 wheel size went he went crazy on width, but no luck...so my question is
18x8+48 wrapped in 225/45-18 (front)
18x9+50 wrapped in 245/45-18 (rear)
work on a gen 4?? [highest offset on the thread was 50 but with <=7" width wheels...]
