Here's an article on four great, fast exotics. Article seems to be a love story for the 458 italia ( which I personally like the best ) and also suggest that the LF-A was an early pre-production prototype with alot of wear and tear on it and that why it hit 0-60 in 4.2 sec. I know it can do 0-60 runs in under 4 sec and numbers seem conservative. Also that price tag, IMO just makes it less disireable in this group. I still really love the LF-A though and hope it does better in other comparisons.

- AutoCar has always been a nice launching ground for Ferrari.
- No handling numbers or lap times whatsoever (not that they would be much more credible).
- No mentioning that LFA is the only car without any launch mechanism (heck, even GT3 RS 6 speed manual comes with a launch control).
- LFA the only car out of the 4 that is a pre-production prototype that is continuously getting thrashed in demos, presentations, tests etc.
Obviously, for a car with a power to weight ratio of 5.7 lbs/hp and without any launch control system (or to get the car off the line with a high rpm launch), those performance numbers mean nothing since 4.2 secs is simply pressing the throttle from 1000 rpm.
The white LFA has been beaten down to death since it is the only white European prototype that was used in Tiff Needel's 5th gear test.
The upcoming AutoZeitung SLS AMG vs LFA and SportAuto supertest would be far more compelling full track tests including Nurburgring lap times. Both with a new red LFA prototype
I will just tell you this much. 0 - 125 mph in 11.3 seconds (that is 1.5 seconds faster than GT-R's AutoZeitung time) and a kicka** Contidrom track lap time.
