Licence Plate Light (PICS!)

Does anyone know how to install the licence plate lights?

I cant get the cover off in the trunk, I dont want to just rip off the screws...Is there no other way?

i pulled mine off.. i think they're meant to come off like that.. you cant unscrew them.. unless there's a specific tool.. none that i have run into though..
I just did mine and I'll post pictures of it tmw! :D

I just yanked mine off as well, got tired of figuring out how to unscrew it lol
Here is the picture of my Rolla after installation.

I did, just blacked it out. Why you ask?

because i cannot see the glow of the new lights on the face of the plate.
Can someone post a DIY? Ive been having a hard time trying to figure this out as well.

1) I first got the white LED bulbs. I believe the size was 168/194 (you might have to confirm that). You can find these cheap on ebay or your local car shop probably.

2) Then you have to open your trunk and on the top part, you'll see these black plastic screws. You have to just pull the cover and yank it off.

3) You'll see the two wires connecting to the bulbs, my wires were wrapped by black coverings. Just twist it off.

4) Pull out the bulbs and just re insert the LED's. Make sure you don't push the LED too far in. I did taht and it almost got stuck.

5) Plug it back in and presto, you're done.

Fairly easy :D
