Lifespan of lowered GR-2s?

I have some GR-2s with B+G springs. They have a 1.6 inch drop so they're around what the APEX and intrax (I think?) springs are.

I was just wondering what kind of life were you getting out of your GR-2s? I bought mine about a year ago and mine already feel dead...

I know they aren't really designed for a lot of lowering which is why I'm concerned... I might have to get some MR2 AGXs for the front of my car or something, the back ones don't seem to bad.

of course it could just be the giant sidewalls on my tires making my car seem extra bouncy :p

have any of you guys had similar experiences?

bump?
Considering intrax is probably the worst spring made it can be that they've bottomed out and killed the struts.

lol, which is why I don't have intrax springs :p I have B+G spings, but yeah, I don't think they're that great either.
mine are still kicking around, I still used to bottom out with the Apex/KYB combo so it's not the springs.
i have H&R springs w/ GR-2s and they seem okay....been about 2 years now.
weird, maybe I'll wait till I get a set of wheels before I replace them just to make sure it isn't my tires.

REN, what combo are you using now? I don't really want this to become a "which suspension is best thread" but I'm just curious.
Well.. on my 90 GTS I have OEM struts with APEX springs and I still bottom out, the KYB struts are a bit stiffer in cornering though, they handle better than the OEM struts with lowering springs. They both bottom out on bumps though. :(
