Lift and Tire fitment

Okay I am going to lift my truck 4in and I want to know if I can fix 35x12.5 with that much lift and what kind of wheels I would need: like back spacing, offset, width.

Any help is appreciated.

I have a 4" suspension lift, 2" body lift, 35x12.5x15 BFG and I still rub on a turn. I also have 10"wide rims. I have heard of people running a 4" lift with 10"wide tires and the min width rim with the required backspacing (4.25") and they rub just not as much. I was leary about the body lift, but the performance accessories lift is a well put together complete kit.

LS1 T100
LST100, will a 10 inch wide wheel with a backspace greater than 4.25", thats running 31-10.50's as the smalled, and maybe up to 33's?

A 10" wide wheel is only needed if your running a 12.5" tire. What will fit with out any rubbing with just a 4" lift is a set of 32x10.5 tires mounted on the minimum width rim required for the tire (see the tire manufacturer for that size) anything bigger than that in width or height will rub on a full turn. I have rubbing with my set up 35"tires 4"suspension, 2" body but it dose not affect my turning at all I just hear a little noise on a full turn.

i have 31-10.50's stock and all is fine, no rubbing
I have 32x11.5 tires on the stock rims on a totally stock truck... they rub the mudflaps in the front very slightly, no big deal.
zigzag, i wonder if i could fit 32's under my stock T without trouble?

well I have done just that. tiny rub with steering at lock on the front mudguards... no big deal. My T is 100% stock.
you have not cranked Tbars or anything?

what brand tires do you have?

think it would scrub with a 4inch+ backspacing on 8 inch wide wheel?

As far as I know, nothing has been modified or tweaked on the truck.

the tires are BFGoodrich All Terrain KO's. 32x11.50

I have no idea if you'd scrub with an 8inch wheel... im new to all this stuff.
in new to it to, lol im only 16, get my license in october, but Turn 17 may 2nd, and my T100 is my first vehichle ever

...and yer learning...which is a good thing. Keep researching and gitting some wrenching time in. Learn what a torque wrench is and how to use it. Don't want you snapping or warping things... ;)

yes bam, i have to find the money to get one sometime, spent a while wrenching today on the T100, taking off stock exhaust manifolds to put on headers, i have a stripped nut(one holding heatshield on) any ideas on getting it off? this is a NUT not a BOLT
Well...there's a few ways.

You could heat it up and try to git to break free...but I never did like that approach.

You could git a nut cracker/buster...no...not someone kicking you in the nuts. :(

They have special tools that grab the stripped nut and work it off...but you should spray it down with some decent stuff first. PB Blaster or Kroil...
