I have an 89 Tercel, and just wondering if there are any lift kits out there for that year/model? I know it seems crazy, but a little clearance and higher stance would be beneficial in this SUV country.

See my tercel in my gallery.

ive been wondering about that too. i live out in the country and my little car doesnt like rough backroads. is there any way to lift a 93 cel? 1 to 2 inches should be enough. i dont know about using those spacers to spread the spring cause i think itll cause a really rough ride. does any one make longer springs? or a block to raise where the spring seats, that should keep the same ride.

Lifting a small car like that is not something youare going to be able to buy off the shelf I wouldnt think. I know here in Nashville there is a company that makes coil springs and leaf springs for p[eople, maybe you could find someone like that in your area. THat could gett pretty pricey though. I jsut dont see anyway to do it without knowing a good fabricator.

The springs and shocks for the '87 - '90 Tercel are taller than the newer models, so that might be an option for you folks with the newer cars.
You might be able to go with just the springs and keep your original shocks.
For the older cars .......?

I put the shocks and springs from a paseo on my '89 and it dropped it about 1.5" in the front and about 2.5" in the back.
