Has anyone done it? Right below the license plate is screaming at me to put leds in there. I've never done something like that, seems out of my ability level to do, how much does something like that cost in a shop?

A member over on the corollaforum website has installed an LED light bar behind the bumper.

I thought about doing that to my car. I ran over a piece of tire on I80 in Wyoming and it ruined the horizontal slats on the grille. I thought about just cutting them out and putting a light bar in there to fill the space. Glad to see that the physical bumper (while not necessary the wisest choice) is a viable option for a mounting location.

Do you have a link to that exact light bar? Seems to fit pretty good.

20in curved off road led light bar
This is probably close. Used a similar one from superbright when I had my Silverado. I loved the light output and for the most part, it's hard to beat the price. Also, it's relatively plug and play if you buy the harness to go with it. No harder than swapping out a horn or wiring an amp.

Im pretty sure thats illegal
Generally (some states may be more restrictive, no clue about Canada) fogs must extinguish when the high beams are switched on, and driving lights must extinguish with the low beams.
Driving lights more than 2 or 3ft above the pavement must be covered when on the highway.

Legal or not, nobody seems to care when they do their "fogs any time" mod... and if you drive respectfully, no cop would know your driving lights are tied to the high beams.
But it could cause you to fail inspection if it is prohibited by the state.
