Unless they meant the oem nav unit being that it can read DVDs and has a 6 cd changer. But even so, I dont know how oem nav would play dvd movies. only thing they'll be unlocking is the override.

PLUS BLUETOOTH PHONE DIALING UNBLOCKED (IF EQUIPPED)
MP3 FOLDERS AND CD TEXT UNBLOCKED (IF EQUIPPED)
FM TEXT UNBLOCKED

the oem nav already plays mp3 folders and cd text. same with fm text. the phone dialing would require override if vehicle is in motion

The main thing of the 2AV are the unlock features and that you can add a player and send the video to the NAV screen. The CD changer does not play DVD...and their is only one NAV available. Maybe they mean the "dealer installed" DVD (armrest or headrest) with factory...?
I bought the 2av. I have headrest dvd players installed and with this I can hook them up to the nav. Should be cool.

I also have headrest dvd players in my 07 Camry and am really interested in knowing if it works. Thanks for keeping us informed :)

Well has anyone received the kit and installed it yet?
I can't wait for you to get it b/c I knowww you'll post pics, right?
Will there be any warranty issues with Toyota?
pictures o'plenty. I read you can activate rear camera at any time.

yes, if you screw up the installation...........
Has anyone received their order yet?
I have and it looks easy to install. I may try it or find someone to help. I'll ask around this week for help although it is plug and play. I'll take some pictures.

What does it take to install? Their website does not offer a look at the installation instructions.
It's easy, I just installed it.It took 5 minutes. I'll take some pics later. My headrest dvd players play onmy nav screen now. All functiuons unlocked. The toyota tech took the slack out of my camera cable so it broke when I took out the head unit, so I haven't checked that yet. They will be fixing that soon. They also didn't screw in the head unit after my dash tsb. Brutal.
That is great to hear but how is the video signal sent from your headrest DVD players to the front navigation screen. Also is the navigation scrren in your Camry the OEM unit? I am really considering doing this now.
