well i was installing my donahoe arms today and everythign was going without a hitch, got the stock passengerside arm off after hitting it for about 10 min with a rubber mallot and hammer, rofl. popped off like buttah. then my assistant (girlfriend) and me put the long bolt through the donahoe heims and it fit like a glove, but there was one problem. i couldnt get the uniball/taper to fit into the top of my spindle. I just couldnt get it at the right angle to fit into the whole all the way. so i called up donahoe and they told me to take a ballot to the taper and hopefully it would loosen up the uniball because it was tight as hell in there. so i went ahead with the mallot, but it didnt budge at all. when shit doesnt work for me i go ballistic. like a moron i took a hammer to the taper and to make a long story short i finially got it to move to the right position, but in doing so i stripped the machined taper! fuck! so i called donahoe like a crying baby and they told me to bring it by and they'll try to fix it with the chaser, we'll see how that goes.

cont.: so i take that taper out and use the other one, but once again it isnt in the right position and it is not budging. so i find a bunch of terrycloths and wrap them around the taper and go to town with the hammer, rofl. well i finially got it in and it isnt stripped so im like hellz ya, i got the arm on time to connect the abs and brakeline, WRONG! as i was tightening the screw onto the arm the top of it sheared off! right at the end. it wasnt even that tight yet, oh man i was pissed, rofl. but i threw a ziptip on to keep the lines in place and now my truck is liek 2face. stock arm on one side, bling on the other, rofl.

actually this is why i hate working on cars w/ my friends, they are like this. Except worse, when something goes wrong they always just sit there and bitch and moan and expect someone (usually me) to find a way to fix it, either that or they go berzerk and start hitting things w/ bigger things.

funny part is if they were beating there own stuff with their own tools i'd let them have at it. But it's always there cars taking the beating from my tools. have you ever seen a guy use YOUR rachet as a hammer?

hope you get it fixed, sometimes shit happens when you work on your own stuff. I go by Danny's law, like murphy's law except it states; "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, ... twice."
