Have a 2007 Tundra, 2 wheel drive 5.7 TRD Package extended cab with about 43,000 miles. I will be driving from Virginia Beach to Fort Lauderdale Florida. I need to move my apt furniture. My truck has the tow package. I am told even with what i have mentioned attaching a U-Haul is not recommended. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

That's what this truck was built and designed to do from the ground up.

Thats what I thought, it should tow a U-Haul with 3 rooms of furniture no problem. The entire trip is just around 1000 miles. Only thing, should i change the coolant or transmission fluid when i complete the trip? Thanks for the quick response!!

And it's all flat roads the whole way. I did the Suffolk to FL run many times when I lived in VA. Just take your time in the right lane the whole way and you'll be just fine. Fluids will be just fine too. Leave them be.
Good luck and have a safe trip.
