I'm looking for a 1994 celica LB rear hatch weatherstrip OEM 6788120130.My old one is torn. Toyota says its discontinued. If its not available, is there a generic or aftermarket that can be used as a substitute?

Have you tried a local pick n' pull salvage yard? Are you located somewhere in Canada? I may be headed to a local yard by me sometime yet this week - I can look if they have this back door weatherstrip you are looking for. I won't remove it and buy it when I do (as I don't know if you are looking for a good used one or not).

I'm in BC Canada. 6th gens are rare as hens teeth in our neck of the woods! At our local wrecker, I have never seen one. The odd 4th, 5th and 7th gen maybe. Our hatch weatherstrip is torn 12" either side of the latch. I'll buy it if its in decent condition with no rips or holes. Hopefully not completely flattened, as our is, as well. Thanks for the reply.

I'll let you know when I get a chance to get out to the salvage yard. I'll take pics and let you know the cost. Then you can decide what you would like to do.
