I just bought a 1996 Geo Prizm (same as Corolla) and it was idling fine then I cleaned up the engine bay and let it dry for about 4 hours and now it is idling rough and dies when I drive it and it comes to a stop. Then I noticed this loose vacuum hose but cant figure out where it plugs into?? Any help is appreciated!

Plug the hose. Use an unlighted small propane torch to find the locaton where the hose plugs in. The engine will pick up speed when the gas gets sucked into the engine.
Isnt that the hose to the map sensor on the firewall next to the wiper motor? From how your holding it and where is seems to lead, that would be it. Im surprised if it ran period. Check engine light yet? It would stall due to that.
Yes!!! That went into the bottom of the MAP sensor, I couldn't find the stupid connector until you said it!! Thank you!! It's running perfect now!
