Hi there,

I have lost the keys and remote for my 1996 V6 3fse Camry/Vienta. I know there are a lot of threads in here and I have been searching through them, but I have been unable to locate the information that I need.

The remote is one of the single button oblong shaped.

I know I can get the key cut for it, but is there any way to program a new remote without the old remote and the car security light on??

Any help would be a god send.

Do you have a spare master key by any chance? If so, you are in luck.

If your remote is the same as this. They are about A$100. Blank keys are about $80 + programming, provided you have a master key.

If you do not have a spare master key, then im not sure what your options are other than to get the key programmed to the ECU (i think!)
