Good day,
Question:
Can a bad evap system cause vacuum in the gastank? Or is it more likely a bad gas cap. The reason I am asking that i discovered a loose hose on the back to p of the fuel tank. I smelled gas fumes and during my investigation I found this. I connected the hose again. I think it is of the evap system. But when I opened my gastank after a long ride. There was a HUGE amount of vacuum.
So previos owner disconnected the house because of this vacuum. Now I am trying to find out what is the problem. Any ideas?

Thx

Ok. But if i connect the hose again from the evap system it pulls to much vaccuum. It's even difficult to release gascap after a ride. In my previous toyota's you heared a short psst when opening the cap. With this one it is for several seconds. I know for sure it is not normal. Think I will replace fuel cap first.

Grtz
