Louver implants and badge-ectomy

I live in Florida, have a black truck with a URD supercharger, and things can get hot under the hood. Here's an interesting article that covers the subject of louvers and under hood heating:

Anyway, I decided to install louvers. After measuring the hood and looking at the metal struts under the hood, I got some 1998 Pontiac Turbo Grand Prix louvers that seemed to fit. I had a body shop install them. They are functional and when you place your hand over the louvers you can feel the heat escaping. I also debadged the truck, including the grille emblem that was replaced with black metal mesh. Here are some pics:

Wheels are 17x8.5 Walker Evans. Tires are 35" Goodrich. (Nominally 35" but really 33" tall.)
Sweet! I haven't seen the Supercharger under the engine cover, looks awesome. Nice truck man, that thing must be a beast! :thumbup:![]()
