Unless it is absolutely immaculate, and or comes with a warranty, I would try for $15,575. Been through some tough winters in Minn.

I just bought an '09 LTD 4WD with 138k miles for $15k. Just based on price and looks, yours seems like a great deal compared to what I paid. Mine looks as good on the inside (don't think they had kids ) and was well taken care of so I'm happy with what I paid. HL's are a very hot item in my area - short supply = high prices. I would jump on that deal if the mechanics, etc., check out.

Make sure the tailgate hinges aren't bent and the tailgate itself isn't out of alignment (look at the spacing between the sides of the tailgate and the body near where it meets the glass.

Also, take a look at the TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) sticky at the top of the 2nd gen forum for common 08 issues (there are far more 08 issues than any other year). You can compare that list against that car to see if it has any of them.

I am definitely eyeballing a HL and atm the 2nd gens fit the budget. Will also make use of the 'search' button and keep you all posted!

This isnt the official introduction yet, but my name is Kesa and I am from MN. Will post an intro thread when I finally get one :)
Anyhow, will be checking this one out tomorrow and see what I can negotiate based off what i've learned so far from this forum (which is alot!)
