I currently have the DC LB with an Access roll-up cover. I want to be able to haul my luggage when my family and I go any sort of trips. I know I can get a bed mat to prevent the luggage from shifting back and forth, but i want to be sure that my luggage doesn't bounce up and down and hit the tonneau cover. What's my best method for tieing it down?

Could I just use the cargo net and tie it down with 2 stock cleats up front, 2 cleats on the side, and the 2 rear d-rings? Or should I install 2 front d-rings in the front bed bolts and use those instead of the 2 front cleats? I'm afraid the 2 stock cleats up front aren't low enough to keep my luggage from bouncing and hitting my tonneau cover.

I don't have a tonneau cover, but with a cargo net it holds everything in place and I haven't had any issues with items bouncing up. I use the 2 D-rings by the tailgate and 2 of the cleats up by the cab.

Another option is maybe an adjustable cargo bar, I just bought 2 that tighten across the bed just by turning them so far they have kept my big full jerry can and other stuff from sliding and moving around.
You dont even need to tighten super hard cause they have grippy rubber feet on each end and only cost 30 bucks at canadian tire up here in canada so probably even cheaper where you are
