Ok guys I have aother question for you. My 2001 Tacoma 4x4 Xtra cab V6 automatic seems to be like kicking back when I come to a complete stop. Like when I slow down, after totally stopping it like "kicks back" for lack of a better way to describe it. I took it to the dealer and they replaced some bearing something, but its still doing it. Its really hard to describe, but if someone else is having or had this problem, i'm sure they know what i'm talking about. When it does it you can see whe gear selector move, so im pretty sure its something in the drivetrain, or tranny or something. Anybody have this problem?

Josh

yeah I have have it. There are some other posts about this....they call it axle-wrap or something like that. After reading some other posts, it appears that almost all tacomas do this, and all dealers tell us the same thing....."they all do it" . Some of the guys talk about greasing the propeller shaft and the u joints. Find a post that's titled "2003 Tacoma Double cab-transmission" and it has some good info on this.
