but how can I make my DRLs white? Do I just get some like 6k 9005 HB3s like from here http://www.v-leds.com/9005-HB3/c267097-1-2/?

Hmm..I just wanna make all my bulbs on my headlights white haha.

except turn signals, but thats why I can get the SWACKs right?

I don't want to lose any functions like the blinking when I press unlock on

the key fob..

go back 1 page. i have a diy for the resistors there. if you have more questions pm me. i wouldn't do hids in drls because they will be running during the day and blinding others. you can drop a LED bulb in there if you don't flash your high beams that much(won't be bright when you flash since led bulbs aren't too bright compared to halogens).

LEDs for DRL is a no no. You put LEDs in DRL, you lose highbeam.

Turn signals are SWACKS if you want white/amber.

If you dont want to lose flashing confirmation when you lock/unlock doors with keyfob, you need to install load resistors.

Again, if you do white LED DRL's, you lose highbeam.

As stated in the DIY, if you purchase those load resistors that is linked in the post, you only need to install it in the back and it will work for the front and back.

I'm also gonna get the Eagle Eyes from ebay, and doesn't the pair of taillights already come with LED flashers? Or is it just LED taillights and a regular turn signal? So I'll probably install the front SWACK LED and Resistors at the back at the same time.

No, it does not come with resistors or flasher module. All you get it taillights and thats it. You connect taillight wire to the LED taillights. In other words, its plug and play. You use original turn signal base and insert into LED taillight.

Since you're getting LEDs for the front and installing load resistors, get LED rear turn signals.

cking: there are only 2 ways to have ultra white drls... 1 is to retrofit some bixenon hid projectors into your low beam area and then drop some led bulbs into the high beam socket since the projector will be enough anyway OR wire up some leds into your low beam projector and wire them to the drl. people do this with hid projectors on hid planet. would then have to do a bypass or wire it up so the high beam bulb won't light up anymore in drl mode but still will in high beam mode.

i know i seen on cardomain a white se with the black eagle eyes and i think i seen one with the red version. haven't seen in smoked. try the smoked ones out. should look good along with se headlights or blacked out headlights. btw our whites aren't pearl. only the 50 anniv. hybrid was a pearl white.

White High Beams = do a search or on going threads about MTEC super white bulbs. Buy from mtecpower on eBay.

As stated by pawel, go to cardomain and see if anyone has a white camry with eagle eyes. If you cant find, you'll have to decide on your own or picture it in your head.

Gen 5 LED List

I finally received the remaining part of my bulbs that were on back order. This post is merely a reference to possibly aid other Gen 5 owners in their LED conversions.

***In my opinion the 3157 bulbs provided by V-leds does not work well on the Gen 5 camry. I tried different versions and they all have the same fitment issues. I ended up utilizing electrical tape to hold the base in place better.

***To use the V-star type of LED bulb, I had to do a minor dremel to the bulb hole to get the light to fit. I would recommend the 60 LED brake light as a better alternative because the 92 LED brake light was a bit more top heavy and would fall in the taillight housing.

According to the Sylvania fitment guide...your 04 LE is the same as my 02 SE. Recall that some of the bulb numbers are interchangeable with others. Look at the first post of this thread as reference.

If you read the first post, everything you needed to know is on the first post. Link to Sylvania's bulb list for your car is there...all you had to do was enter year, make and model.

Secondly, as noted in the list of LEDs...

**NOTE: There is no specific type of LED to buy. So as long its the one of the correct sizes above, you can get ANY LED you want. (VLED V-STAR LEDs that expand may not fit due to size being bigger. It will not lock in socket). All sizes below is the most common sized used on LED sites. LED size below will not be the same as that found on Sylvania.

The LED sizes that you need are already listed for you. Just go to any of the LED sites I had posted in the first thread and order

Please elaborate. If you had issues with the rear brake lights, I had the same problem. It seems as though V-led's 3157 base does not work well on Gen 5's.

how do you fix the parking light issue if you have LEDs in the front and im not talking about the hyper flashing just the LEDs lighting up when your parking lights are on.
